House of Art

The main focus of our outreach is a program called House of Art. House of Art, formerly known as Tree of Life, teaches underprivileged and homeless teens ages 12-17 how to create live theater experiences in collaboration with professional artists.

Teens participate in weekly workshops that culminate in a final production. Each student takes on a role in the production process, be it stage-managing, directing, acting, writing, PR, or set design. The program aims to provide a creative safe space in which students can explore, gain agency, and learn to make a mark in their own lives and the lives of others through the power of art.
